I GELATI D’ITALIA 20 FLAVOURS FOR 20 REGIONS II EDITION, ORVIETO, 1-4 MAY 2014

One of the most important annual events for makers, gourmands and connoisseurs of Italian Quality Gelato, in the scenic background of Piazza del Duomo, Piazza del Popolo and Piazza della Repubblica four days of tastings, workshops, seminars, discussions, exhibitions and meetings involving the public and those who work on the streets and alleys. The best gelato artisans work "live" and make the public taste the result of their creativity, inspired by the different regional identities and seasonality; sole and unquestionable arbiter is the public, who is asked to vote for the more appreciated regional ice cream. The R & C SYSTEM participates as an official sponsor, exhibits the display case Alice, the cocktails and ice-cream counter in its stand at Piazza della Repubblica, where you can see the young ice-cream masters working.

The most important event in the world of artisanal ice-cream, a primary European showcase for artisan confectionery and coffee and a success with 175,000 visitors. Exposed all the very latest concerning raw materials and ingredients, machinery and equipment, furniture and services for ice-cream, pastry and bakery. The R & C SYSTEM is present with its own stand, where is presented the new version of the Daytona display case with its peculiar "spatial" design and showed on a screen the video report of the participation in "La festa dei gelati d’Italia 2013 'in Orvieto.

I GELATI D’ITALIA I EDITION, ORVIETO, 1-5 MAY 2014

The City of Orvieto host the first edition of the “La festa dei gelati d’Italia”, a new and unprecedented event, which pays tribute to the 37,000 ice-cream parlours in Italy and the greedies who purchase at least six kg of ice-cream per year. The event is sponsored by the Umbria Region and the Municipality of Orvieto. There are twenty Italian regions, each one represented by an ice-cream flavour produced, exclusively for the occasion, from the best forty ice-cream makers. Visitors are invited to taste all the twenty regional flavours and to vote for the best one. The greedy guests of "I gelati d’Italia" have the chance to participate to further tastings, demonstrations and ice-cream lessons, to visit the exhibitions on the history of ice-cream and on the project of the ice-cream small cup, as well as attending funny events. The R & C SYSTEM attends the event with a large gazebo where he puts his Daytona display cases at young ice-cream makers’ disposal.
